What is Judaism?

Judaism is the religion of the Jewish people. It is an ancient, monotheistic, Abrahamic religion with the Torah as its foundational text.  It encompasses the religion, philosophy, and culture of the Jewish people.  Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenant that God established with the Children of Israel.  Judaism encompasses a wide corpus of texts, practices, theological positions, and forms of organization. The Torah is part of the larger text known as the Tanakh or the Hebrew / Jewish Bible, and supplemental oral tradition represented by later texts such as the Midrash and the Talmud.

Jewish people follow specific laws of Kashrut (Food that may be consumed according to halakha [Jewish law]is termed kosher), keep Shabbat and live by the Jewish laws


Can I convert to Judaism? 

Yes. Although Judaism is not a missionary religion and is not looking to turn people to Jews, it is possible to convert if you have a true passion about it, and you are willing to work hard and keep the Jewish laws. please make sure you do it in the Orthodox way which is the only way that is excepted as a real conversion by Jews and the rabbinical authorities. we are here to help and can refer you to the right place (You can contact us at [email protected]).
